*Slim-Down Treat Recipe

5 carrots
1 apple
1/2 cucumber
1/2 beet
1 rib celery

Run the vegetables through your juicer in any sequence you wish.
Add a touch of fresh ginger, if you prefer a juice with more bite.

Fruit Ninja Smoothie Recipe
10 Black Raspberries
10 Blueberries
1 kiwi
2 Tbsp. Greek Yogurt
1/2 peice of celery
6 strawberries
3 carrots
1 floret of broccoli
1 cup of ice

If you like it a bit sweeter add 2 tsp. of Truvia Sweetener. Blend until smooth or the consistency you desire. Makes two 10 ounce servings. I will post more about the nutritional value of this recipe soon. As it's nutritional value is through the roof. These ingredients provide a vast amount of vitamins, antioxidants, energy, fiber, protein, and cholesterol lowering components. Plus, it tastes good!


Poached Salmon

Ingredients



  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 pounds salmon fillets, cut into 4 pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped garlic
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Heat wine and water over medium high heat in a large non-stick skillet for 5 minutes.
  2. Slide salmon pieces into poaching liquid and dot with butter. Sprinkle with dried parsley, garlic, salt and pepper.
  3. Bring to a slow boil, reduce heat to medium and poach until salmon flesh is firm, about 10 to 15 minutes.

Super Green

3 Romaine Lettuce Leaves
2 Carrots
1 Cup of Fresh Spinach
1/2 Cup of Fresh Parsley
2 Celery Stalks
1 Apple

Wash all vegetables and fruit with water and a brush. Place vegetables and fruit into juicer in any order. Be sure to drink right away.

Strawberry Awesome

3 Romaine Lettuce Leaves
1 Cup Spinach
2-3 Kale Leaves
1/2 Cup Watercress
1 Carrot
1/2 Cup Blackberries
4 Strawberries

Lemon Mango Twist

4 Cups Baby Spinach
4 Stalks Celery
5 Full Size Carrots
2 Small Zucchini
4 Small Apples
1 Mango - Sliced
1/2 Lemon with Rind

Makes Approximately 32oz. of Juice
